Knowledge is key to understanding and advocating for ourselves and our loved ones affected by Sensory Processing Disorder. Not only have I learned from doctors and scientists devoted to understanding and making sense of the senses, but I have also learned from others’ experiences. We all have our own journey to through accepting and understanding how SPD will affect us and our families. What works for one may not work for others, but getting support from those who understand our experiences is sometimes more beneficial than actual advice or recommendations.
